Rebecca Garner

Rebecca Garner, age 91, of Texarkana, Texas, went home to be with her lord on May 14, 2011, in Texarkana, Texas. She was born on January 14, 1920 in Pike County, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Charles and Floy (Harris) Watson. Mrs. Garner was a homemaker and she was very loved by her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Garner; two sons, Charles Garner and Wendell Garner; and two brothers, Ronald Watson and Fredrick Watson. She is survived by, three sons, Kenneth Garner of Paris, Arkansas, Ricky Garner of Russellville, Arkansas, and Marty Garner of Ohio; three daughters, Gloria Cox of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Glenda Williams of Redwater, Texas, and Donna Wilson of Redwater, Texas; one sister, Gladys Garner of Glenwood, Arkansas; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Many other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Graveside services will be on Monday, May 15, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Pisgah Cemetery in Pisgah, Arkansas under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro, Arkansas.
