Larry Joe Hardin, 78, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his home. He was born July 1, 1944 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas the son of the late Laverne and Ella Mae Hawthorne Hardin.
Mr. Hardin was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Some of his favorite things to do was fishing and being on his tractor. But more importantly he loved his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ann Hardin and a daughter Lynn Rena Hardin.
Survivors include three daughters Linda Castleman and husband Todd of Nashville, AR, Pamela Whisenhunt and husband Ronny of Nashville, AR , Shelly Hogue and husband Troy of Arkadelphia, AR; four grandchildren Justin Garner and wife Ali, Corey Whisenhunt and wife Anna, Rebecca Castleman, and Colton Whisenhunt and wife Kelsey, seven great grandchildren Tyler, Brylie, Remi, Caliber, Ridge, Hadley, and River; three brothers Hubert Hardin and wife Virginia, Russel Hardin and wife Judy, Kenny Hardin and wife Mona, and Kirk Hardin and wife Abby; three sisters Sue Quinn, Pat Stone, and Sheila Phillips and husband Randy; as well as a special family friend Betsy McJunkins.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Dierksen Hospice for the compassion and care that was shown to Mr. Hardin.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 15, at Mineral Springs Cemetery, with Marty Quinn officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
