Katie Jo Smith

Katie Jo Smith, 82, of Murfreesboro, AR, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at a Hot Springs hospital. She was born November 13, 1928, in Murfreesboro, AR, the daughter of the late Ira and Ina Henderson Brown. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Smith and one brother, Jimmy Brown. Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, Tim Smith and wife, Va nessa, of Nashville, AR and Keith Smith of Ashdown, AR; one brother, Charlie Brown and wife, Nora, of Murfreesboro, AR; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 17, at Hickory Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Freeman Henderson officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
