Charles Fatherree, age 83, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was born October 4, 1938 in Lockesburg, Arkansas the son of the late Luther Fatherree and Eunice Young, Eunice passed away when Charles was three months old.  He then was raised by his other mother Ruby Cook Fatherree who also preceded him in death.

Mr. Fatherree was a member of Crosspoint Cowboy Church where he was a very active member and also took a vital role in building the church.  He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and enjoyed keeping up with all the activities that they were involved in.  Charles was a true cowboy he enjoyed to ride and break horses.  He also loved to hog hunt, duck hunt, as well as stockcar racing.  Everyone that knew him will truly miss his smile and his good hugs.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Shirley Hale, and three brothers Luther, Aubrey, and Robert Fatherree.

Survivors include the love of his life his wife of 62 years Bobbie Fatherree of Mineral Springs, AR; two daughters Melinda Bennett and husband Dale of Nashville, AR, Melissa Nutt and husband Billy of Mineral Springs, AR; six grandchildren Michael Jamison and wife Debra of Nashville, AR, Heather Applegate and husband Adam of Nashville, AR, Ashley Hale and husband Travis of Nashville, AR, Braden Nutt and wife Amber of Nashville, AR, Brooklyn Nutt of Mineral Springs, AR, and Joey Bennett of Mineral Springs, AR, six great grandchildren Tristen Jamison, Gauge Applegate, Gavin Applegate, Jacob Hale, Ethan Hale, and Tori Bennett. Two brothers Terry Fatherree of Nashville, AR, Larry Don Fatherree of Mineral Springs, AR; two sisters Sandra Couch of Nashville, AR, and Freda Morris of West Plains, MO; as well as a number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, at Crosspoint Cowboy Church in Nashville.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 9, at Crosspoint Cowboy Church, with Bro. Don Jones and Bro. Sonny Nutt officiating, burial will follow in Bluff Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
