Woody McDonald, 73, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, died Wednesday, December 07, 2011 at his home. He was born August 13, 1938 the son of the late Luther and Avis Lamb McDonald. He was a member of the Saline Church of Christ, and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife Kathy McDonald of Murfreesboro, AR; one son Terry McDonald of Mineral Springs, AR; two daughters Sheila Hicks of Nashville, AR; and Tina Wessels of Murfreesboro, AR; one sister Evalou Bowles of Nashville, AR; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 10, at the Saline Church of Christ with Roger Cox officiating, with burial to follow in Saline Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, December 9, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Memorials may be made to the Pike County Senior Citizens Center.
