Winfred Ray Williams, 84, of Haughton, LA, formerly of Augusta, GA died on Thursday, April 29, 2010 in Haughton. He was born on August 13, 1925 in Schaal, AR, the son of the late Tom and Willie Mae (Monroe) Williams. Mr. Williams was an Ironworker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Williams; one sister, Bonnie Jean Chesshir; and two brothers, Byron Williams and Joe Williams. Survivors include one stepson, Walter Williams of Augusta, GA; one daughter, Linda Williams of Thomason, GA; one brother and his wife, J.B. and Betty Williams of Haughton, LA; and one grandson, Dallas Williams of Augusta, GA. Several other relatives and friends mourn his passing Services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville with Harold Turner officiating.
