Willie Mae Tucker, 72, of Murfreesboro, died Friday, February 26, 2010, at her home. She was born November 13, 1937, in Vernon, Florida, the daughter of the late Pony and Allie Gipson Mallory. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro. She has lived in Murfreesboro for 29 years. She was a good wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her husband, Michael Tucker of Murfreesboro, AR, two sons, Jim Neel of Melbourne, FL and Jeff Neel of Hope, AR; two daughters, Pam Garringer of Hope, AR and Mary Gillham of Rogers, AR; one brother, Ferral Mallory of FL, one sister, Alene Kreft of FL; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Mitchell Tucker of Downey, CA; sister-in-law, Debra Thompson of Downey, CA; 2 great nephews, Ed Cuen of Santa Fe Springs, CA and Andrew Thompson of Downey, CA; great-great niece; several other nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 1, at First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, with Bros. Lee Walker and Patrick Fulmer officiating, burial at Memory Garden Cemetery in Hope at approximately 3:00 P.M., under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
