Willie Mae Bateman, age 96, of Murfreesboro, AR, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Murfreesboro. She was born on August 30, 1916 in Murfreesboro, the daughter of the late Bill Huddleston and Katherine Pullen Huddleston. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bateman was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie; one son, Ricky Bateman; one daughter, Johnnie Mae Smedley; two son-in-laws, Don Smedley and Jack Jackson; one granddaughter, Jeana Smedley; one infant grandson, William Bateman; one brother, Buck Huddleston; and two stepbrothers. She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Jean Jackson of Garland, TX; one daughter-in-law, Diana Bateman of Murfreesboro, AR; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Friday, January 4, 2013 in Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro.
