William Bradley Davis

William Bradley Davis of Murfreesboro, age 73 born on January 6, 1947, passed from this world on December 31, 2020.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christine; daughter Patricia Kathleen Jackson and husband Kenneth of Murfreesboro; three grandson’s Kenneth Carl Jackson, Aaron Davis Jackson and wife Kaydee and Adam Patrick Jackson all from this area; brother Ralph Francis Davis of Natchitoches, LA, brother James Patrick Davis and wife Diana of Torrington, CT; sister Colleen Lyons of Springfield, MO, Sister Elizabeth Davis of Bantam, CT, sister Patricia Ann Benne and husband Eddie of Canton, CT.

William was a Veteran of both the Navy and Army, serving in Vietnam in 1965 on the USS Pyro as electrician. He also served on the USS Shasta and the USS Tappahannock in 1966-67. In 1974, he enlisted in the US Army as a combat engineer at Fort Lenardwood, MO. He achieved the rank of specialist 5, skilled in explosives. In Connecticut he worked for PeterTillou, Fine Arts, and Mrs. Virginia Risley. Upon retiring to Murfreesboro in 2005, he owned and operated Diamond Gun for 10 years. Anyone wishing to honor his service and memory please donate to any veterans group. Sincerely, a prayer for him and our country is what he would have wished for. God Bless America. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2020 in the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel at Murfreesboro.
