Willard Gene Murphy

Willard Gene Murphy, age 70, of Nashville, Arkansas, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 in Nashville. He was born March 11, 1940 in Old Washington, Arkansas, the son of the late Joseph Leroy and Effie Velmar Cogdell Murphy. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church and was an auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by one brother Clifford Murphy. Survivors include his wife Carolyn Murphy of Nashville; one son Billy Murphy of Nashville; one daughter Jennifer Murphy of Nashville; three brothers Wayne Murphy of Nashville, Billy Murphy of Murfreesboro, Ronnie Murphy of Nashville; two sisters Margaret Phelps of Nashville, Mildred Farmer of Nashville; four grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Graveside Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Nashville. Visitation will be 6:00 â�" 8:00 P.M. Monday at Latimer Funeral Home.
