Wayne Smyth, 63, of Hot Springs Village, died July 2, 2010 in Hot Springs, AR. He was born on March 11, 1947 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, the son of the late George Smyth and Marie Taylor Thompson. Mr. Smyth was a technician for Business Machines, member of the Hot Springs Cruisers, the Village Cruisers, and member of the Village United Methodist Church. He was in the Air Force where he proudly served in the Honor Guard. He loved going to garage sales, fishing, and had flea market booths. Survivors include: his wife, Evelyn (Strawn) Smyth of Hot Springs Village; his mother Marie Thompson of Hot Springs; one daughter, Melissa Galloway of the Dallas area; one granddaughter, Brittney Galloway of the Dallas area; one furry daughter, Noel; and numerous other friends. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at, 2:00 P.M. at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro. Officiating will be Dr. George McCoy, Norman Carter, and George Tanner of the Village United Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village assisted by Bro. Troy Carroll of Murfreesboro.
