Wayne Edward Bunker, age 77 of Delight, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 13, 1946 in West Memphis to the late Clarence Harvey Bunker and Gusta Roach Bunker.
Mr. Bunker was a member of the Mt. Joy Freewill Baptist Church. He loved to build things and truly was a “jack of all trades.” He loved spending time with his family. He worked thirty years as a lineman, finishing out his services with South Central Electric.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Harvey Bunker, Mary Blasingame, Jerry Bunker and Margie Bunker Hoss.
Survivors include his loving wife, Loren Dakens Bunker; five children, Dawn Nichols, Tamera Seeley, Ricky Fralick, Susan Whitten and David Bunker; one brother, Jimmy Bunker; one sister, Debbie Vessels; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the Mt. Joy Freewill Baptist Church near Daisy, with Bro. Raymond Dee officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.
