Wanda June (Henderson) McAnelly

Wanda June Henderson McAnelly, age 76 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 in her home. She was born on July 23, 1944 in Morganton, Arkansas to the late Roy and Mabel Clemons Henderson.

Wanda was a member of the Murfreesboro Church of Christ. She also worked as an insurance agent for fourty-four years at Diamond State Insurance.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in by her son, Russell McAnelly and a sister, Patsy Doyle.

Those who survive her passing include her husband of almost sixty years, John “Bud” McAnelly; grandson Justin Allison McAnelly of Murfreesboro; two great-grandchildren John Russell Allison McAnelly and Kaydence Nicole McAnelly; three brothers Billy Henderson of Judsonia, Danny Henderson of Batesville; Roy Henderson and wife Pat of Pleasant Hill, California; a sister Anna Farris and husband Bill of Nashville; Daughter in law, Sherri McAnelly;  as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the Murfreesboro Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the Murfreesboro Church of Christ with Tommy Mounts officiating. Interment will follow in Murfreesboro Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
