Virginia Smith

Virginia Lay Smith, 91, of Mineral Springs, died Monday, January 10, 2011, in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born October 5, 1919, at Nathan, AR. the daughter of the late Millard and Jessie Floyd Lay She was a member of Mineral Springs Church of Christ. Survivors include three boys, Floyd Ross Smith and wife, Delores, of Kileen, TX. Terry Smith Sr. and wife Paula, of Shreveport, LA, Charlie Smith and wife Helen, of Mineral Springs, AR; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and her beloved church family. She is preceded in death by her husband William Grady Smith. One brother Jack Lay, three sisters, Bessie Graves, Ina Lay, and Bobbie Jo McAlister. Family graveside Services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 12, at Mineral Springs Cemetery, a public memorial will be at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 12, at Mineral Springs Church of Christ, with Robert Peek officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
