Virginia Howard

Virginia Howard, 71 of Delight, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at her home. She was born on September 15, 1945 in Little Rock, AR. the daughter of the late Joseph Edwin and Jimmie May Starling Lingo. Mrs. Howard was a member of the Delight Church of Christ. She loved her grandchildren, family, church family, and doing for others. She enjoyed cooking for her family and many others. Survivors include her husband of fifty-two years Doyle Howard of Delight, AR; two sons Eddie Howard and wife Anna and their son Kane O'Neal of Murfreesboro, AR; Scott Howard and wife Kristy and their children Andrew and Abigail Howard of Delight, AR; two daughters Donna McBride and children Ethan and Elizabeth of Delight, AR; Karen Lockwood and husband Jason and children Annabelle and Jake Lockwood of Delight, AR; two sisters Janice Hill and husband Robert of Prescott, AR; Peggy Lawrence and husband Dave of Valiant, OK: a sister-in-law Helen Stell of Delight, AR; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 P.M., Monday, September 19, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 20, at the Delight Church of Christ, with Wallace Alexander, Brent Alexander, and Randy Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Delight Church of Christ.
