Valton Ray Schooley

Valton Ray Schooley, age 79, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 in Hot Springs, Arkansas the son of the late Therman Otis "Boy" and Ruby Jeanette Smith Schooley. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed being at deer camp with his kids. He was preceded in death by his sisters Patricia Schooley, Mona Lisa Schooley, Sherry Copeland, Elaine Boone, and Helen Bagley. As well as his precious fur baby Lily. Survivors include his wife Teresa Schooley of Murfreesboro, AR; children Steve Schooley and family of Nashville, AR; Sheila Tollett and family of Nashville, AR; Stan Schooley and family of Nashville, AR; Clint Schooley and family of Nashville, AR; one step-son Kendall Cox of Murfreesboro, AR; sisters Betty Jamison of Dierks, AR; Linda Rodgers of Nashville, AR; as well as a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and fur babies Riley and Lindy. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 16 from 1:00 P.M., until service time at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 16, at 2:00 P.M., at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro, with Tommy Mounts officiating. Burial will follow in Columbus Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
