Trudy Smith, age 68 of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on November 15, 2018 in Texarkana, Texas. She was the daughter to the late Connie Sanders Gardner and Hugh D. Gardner. Trudy was a member of First Baptist church in Nashville. She owned and worked at "Trudy's Flowers" for 25 years. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Ronald Melvin "The Big R"; one daughter, Connie Smith Wincher; her parents and one daughter-in-law, Susan Sunderman Smith Survivors include; one son; Stacy Smith and wife Kim of Nashville, Arkansas, one daughter, Christie Stone and husband Steve of Nashville, Arkansas; one brother Mike Gardner and wife Karen of Athens, Arkansas; one sister, Judy Hutchison and husband Richard of Nashville, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren, Chance and wife Taylor, Dillion and wife Shelbi, Nyles, Slater, Macy; 2 great-grands, which were the lights of her life, Rylee and Trenton. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., Saturday, November 17, 2018. Graveside will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Ozan Cemetery with Bro, David Blasé officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
