Tommy Ray Harris, 69, of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 near Glenwood, AR. He was born June 3, 1942, in Murfreesboro, AR, the son of the late Johnny B and Gurtie Redwine Harris. He was a Baptist. He was a self-employed logger. He loved hunting and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by one son, Stoney Ray Harris; one brother, Johnny Lewis Harris and one sister, Sue Canon. He is survived by his wife, Nelda Harris of Murfreesboro, AR; one son, Johnny Harris and wife, Lisa, of Murfreesboro, AR; one sister, Edna McAnelly of Shreveport, LA; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of friends. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 3, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, Murfreesboro, with Bobby Golden officiating, burial in Brocktown Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
