Sylvia Humphry

Sylvia Humphry, age 77, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  She was born April 20, 1945 in Billstown, Arkansas the daughter of the late L.C. Bell and Millogean Cooper Bell.

Mrs. Humphry was a member of the Delight Church of Christ and was very active in church work.  She worked twenty-seven years in the revenue office for the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.  Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who adored her family.  Her grandchildren adored her.  Sylvia loved baking cakes and crafting.  She was loved by everyone who met her and never met a stranger.  Sylvia was always giving and enjoyed serving others.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Dudley Humphry of Murfreesboro, AR; two sons Todd Humphry and wife Susan of Henderson, TN, Trevor Humphry and wife Victoria of Murfreesboro, AR, grandchildren Emily Ellis and husband Clint, Jared Humphry and wife Mackenzie, Allie Humphry all of Henderson, TN, Madison Humprhy and fiancé Will Sheffield of Mena, AR; one great-grandson Maddox Lee Humphry of Henderson, TN; one brother Louie Bell and wife Teresa of Delight, AR; one nephew Derrick Hudson of Bryant, AR; and one niece Megan Jackson of Murfreesboro, AR.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 19, at Delight church of Christ, with Wallace Alexander, Brent Alexander, and David Brian Hendrix officiating, burial will follow in Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
