Sonja Lea Johnson

Sonja Lea Kick Johnson, 74, of Nashville, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in her home with family by her side. She was born July 2, 1938 in Summerhill, PA, the daughter of the late George and Larue Kick. Today we put to rest a wife, Mother, and friend that was loved deeply and will be missed. Her memory will be with us until we meet her again in Heaven. She was married 47 years to her late husband, Delbert Johnson. She is survived by her children, Tammy Williams, James Johnson, Billy Ray Johnson, and Sandra Larue Johnson; daughters-in-law, Nicol Johnson and Crystal; Grandchildren, Jonathon Martindale, Gregory Martindale, Lathan Fink, Tyler Davis Johnson, Corina Johnson, Kayla Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Chastin Johnson, Jacob Johnson, and two great great grandchildren, Carson Michael Russell and Landon James Hickson; sisters and brothers, Thomas Kick and wife, Candie, of Jamestown, PA, John Kick and wife, Elaine Kick of Portage, PA, Donald Kick and wife, Diane of Wilmore, PA, Matthew Kick and wife, Marsha of Portage, PA, Billy Kick and wife, Barb of Jamestown, PA, April Kick Patterson and husband Jack of Big Springs, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, her brother, Larry Kick and wife Cindy of Portage, PA and many nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday August 9, 2012 at Union Grove Baptist in Blevins. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
