Shirley Campbell, age 77, of Murfreesboro, died on Friday, August 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 27, 1934 in Murfreesboro to the late Thomas and Thelma (Hughes) Woodley. She was a lifetime member of the Pleasant Home Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E.â₝Booâ₝ Campbell; one son, Jimmy Campbell; and daughter-in-law, Rosa Campbell; one brother, Butch Woodley; and two sisters, Della Langley and Peggy Stewart. Shirley is survived by one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Campbell of Murfreesboro; her children and their spouses, Eugenia Cano of League City, TX, William L.â₝Hookemâ₝ Campbell of Murfreesboro, Rita Hobbs and husband, Robert of Houston, TX Vicki San Angelo of Alvin, TX, Anita Thomas and husband, Alan of Galveston, TX, Tammy Pues and husband, Manuel of Houston, TX, and Vic Campbell of Murfreesboro; 22 grandchildren, Eric Campbell, Jeremy Campbell, Ryan Cano, Jennie Cano, Liz Dickey, Daniel Campbell, Shane Campbell, Tommy Hobbs, Angel Wilburn, Rhett San Angelo, Christina Cantrell, Alan Thomas, Jr.,Michael Tangedahl, Angela Tangedahl, Rachael Maurer, Kyle Thomas, Stephanie Sandlin, Heather Pues, Stephanie Venable, Michael Kinsey, David Kinsey, and Joseph Campbell, and 25 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Pat Sweeden of Murfreesboro, and Linda West of Sherman, Texas. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Memorial Services will be held at Pleasant Home Church of Christ on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. with Steve Kelley officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
