Sarah Darby

Sarah (Sadie) Bell Cox Darby left this life on November 23, 2012 at her home in Murfreesboro, Ar. to join her loved ones who have gone on before. She was born on December 15, 1933 in Pike County, Arkansas. Her life was lived among her family and friends whom she loved very much. She was a member of the church of Christ, her hobbies were writing, poetry and letters. She was also an avid reader, and loved entertaining her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Edna Womack Cox, a great-granddaughter, Paige Fugitt, a great grandson Kyler Andert, a grandson Casey Fugitt, a brother Glen Cox, and a sister Willia Dane Tackett, four husbands Clarence Bostic, J.M. Garner, Jimmy Winston Cox, and Jesse Darby, and several good friends. Sarah is survived by her children, Darlene Cummings and husband Larry, Denise Godwin and husband Dennis, Debra Davis and husband Kenny, Donita Moncus and husband Dennis, Dana Goodson, Richard Collins, all of Murfreesboro, AR; Rhonda Echols of Quinlan, TX; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 1 on the way. She is also survived by one brother, Wendell Cox and his wife Bonnie of Huntington, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro, with Tommy Mounts officiating, burial will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the funeral home in Murfreesboro. Pallbearers Joshua Cummings, Travis Bostic, Kyle Turberville, Cory Turberville, Ronnie Homan, and Ryan Overturf.
