Ruth Naomi Parks 94 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. She was born on April 8, 1922 in Delight, Arkansas the daughter of the late James Albert and Nora Lea Slatton Wilson. Mrs. Parks was a member of Pisgah Church of Christ, the Quilting Guild of Gum Springs, the Senior Citizens of Murfreesboro, and an election official in Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years Joe Tom Parks, two sons Joe Thomas Parks, Phillip Parks and his wife Linda, two grandsons Randy Joe and James Parks, infant children Jolene Parks, Sherry Parks, and Randy Parks. Three sisters Verdell Wilson, Theda Faye Bolt, and Lea Ella Howell, and one brother Albert Wilson. Survivors include a son Vance Parks and wife Debra of Wylie, TX; two brothers Euell "Cotton" Wilson of Arkadelphia, AR; EV Wilson of Linden, TX; two sisters Gustena Jester of McCaskill, AR; and Zetta Crocker of Murfreesboro, AR; six grandchildren Rickey Joe, Denise, Andrea, Vance Jr., Michael, and Jennifer; ten great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 28, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 29 at the Delight Cemetery with Bro.
