Ruth Fant

Ruth Fant, 75, of Texarkana, died Monday, November 22, 2010, at a Nashville hospital. She was born March 19,1935, at New Hope, AR, the daughter of the late Benton and Della Reid Moore. She was of the Baptist belief. She was retired after 27 years with Weyerhauser. Mrs. Fant was preceded in death by her husband, Harless Fant; three brothers, Quenton Moore, Royce Moore, and Archie Moore; and two sisters, Lorene Matthews, Ernestine Spiedel. She is survived by one son, Travis Fant of Hot Springs, AR; one daughter, Sharon Wood and husband, Jerry, of Texarkana, AR; two brothers, Boyd Moore of Dangerfield, TX and Eldon Moore of Dierks, AR; one sister, Rhudell Bishop of Carthage, MO; a number of nephews, nieces and a host of friends. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 24, at Mt. Joy Church, with Kenny Fant officiating, burial in Mt. Joy Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
