Roseden Terrell Rather

Roseden Terrell Rather, 71 of Delight, Arkansas, died on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born on December 3, 1938 in Pisgah, AR, the son of the late Leslie Darrell and Effie Jane Blakely. Mr. Rather was a member and deacon of the Saline Church of Christ, a 32nd degree master mason, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved the Lord, his family, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by one son, Joey Terrell Rather, a grandson Jonathon Hale; a sister Bamer Craig, and one brother Ricky Rather. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jane Rather of Delight, AR.; one daughter Belinda Broyles and husband Aarol of Murfreesboro, AR; two sons Tracy Rather and wife Amanda of Murfreesboro, AR., and Randall Rather and wife Loletia of Murfreesboro, AR; one brother Darrell Rather and wife Loraine of Delight, AR; two sisters Opal May of Delight, AR; and Vicky Goodson and husband Wayne of Fouke, AR; ten grandchildren Raun, Sarah, Brad, Jacob, Justin, Maria, Cody, Felicia, Tyler, and Jennifer; four great-grandchildren Haley, Melonie, Daniel, and Myah. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Murfreesboro Church of Christ with Roger Cox officiating, with burial to follow in Campbell Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday November 1 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
