Rogers Hilton Broussard

Rogers Hilton Broussard age 90, of Houston, Texas, died on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at his home.  He was born March 28, 1932 in Orangefield, Texas the son of the late Eddie and Elodie Marie Broussard.

Mr. Broussard was married to Kathryn Denny since 1961.  He will be forever loved by his loving children Dena, Michelle, Scott, and their spouses, his devoted grandchildren Kelsie, Tyler, Michael, and Matthew as well as his five great grandchildren.

A self-made man, Rogers worked in the dental industry for fifty-eight years, where he earned the respect and admiration of his many colleagues through hard work, kindness and loyalty.  Rogers Hilton Broussard was cherished and loved by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Laris, Clifford, Garford, Raymond, Sexton, Harris, Fleto, L.J. “Pop”, and Geneva.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years Kathryn Denny Broussard, daughters Dena Theis and husband James; Michelle Mahood and husband Paul; one son Scott Broussard and partner Jason Harding; grandchildren Kelsie Baxley and husband Clint, Michael Lewis and wife Malia, Tyler Allen Broussard and Matthew Lewis and fiancé Lindsey; great grandchildren Makenna, Madelyn, Ellison, Emerson, and Chase.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 25, at Delight Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 25, at Delight Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Henderson officiating, burial to follow in Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Broussard, Michael Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Clint Baxley, Erik Neunhoffer, and Blake Lockwood.
