Roe Sanders, age 87, of Nashville, died on Monday, February 18, 2013 in Nashville. He was born on May 4, 1925 in Murfreesboro, the son of the late Albert Jefferson Sanders and Opal William Henry Oliver Sanders. He was a mechanic for 64 years for Ball Chevrolet and York Gary Chevrolet and member of the Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Albert Sanders, George Sanders, Melvin Sanders, Arlos Oliver, Radie Sanders and sisters, Mosalee Rushing, Connie Gardner, Austa Haubor and Betsy Sanders. Survivors include, his wife, Mable of Nashville; one son, Jim Sanders and wife, Linda of Houston, TX; one daughter, Sharon Sillavan and husband, George of Texarkana, AR; two grandchildren, Jason Sanders and wife, Tammy of Belmont, Mass. and Sean Sillavan of Texarkana, AR; and two great grandchildren, Will Sanders and Luke Sanders, both of Belmont, Mass. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends mourn his passing. Services will be on Wednesday, February 20, at 2:00 P.M. at Latimer Funeral Home chapel with David Williams and Rick Lawson officiating.
