Robert Eugene Ames, 79 of Bossier City, LA, died Thursday, September 24, 2009, at his home. He was born October 5, 1929, at South Bend, IN, the son of the late George and Bertha Guisinger Ames. He was a maintenance worker for Bossier Medical. He was a Marine Veteran. Mr. Ames is survived by his wife, Nina Ames of Bossier City, LA; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Ames Bennett and husband, Marvin, of Bossier City, LA; one granddaughter, Catherine Ross of Bossier City, LA; and a host of friends. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 29, at Murfreesboro Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
