Ricky Dale Garner

Ricky Dale Garner, age 64 of Hector, Arkansas, passed away on September 13, 2019 in Ashdown, Arkansas. He was born on July 22, 1955 in Delight, Arkansas the son of the late Hoyt and Rebecca Watson Garner. Mr. Garner was a commercial insulator for the Heat/Frost Insulators Local # 10. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Garner and Wendell Garner, a brother-in-law Bobby Williams. He is survived by a son Ricky Garner, Jr. and wife Jeana of Knightdale, NC; a daughter, Jeannie Loar of Texarkana, TX; one brother Kenneth Garner; three sisters Glenda Williams, Donna Wilson and Gloria Cox; and six grandchildren Brianna, Jacob, Leah and Rachel Garner and Madelyn and Jeremy Loar. At the age of 43, Ricky (Dad) gave his heart and life to Jesus Christ. All those that knew him can testify to his life being dramatically and forever changed. His faith in Christ became a rock and pillar for his family. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. until service time at the Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Delight, Arkansas on Friday, September 20. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 at the Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Delight, Arkansas on Friday, September 20 with Pastor Ricky Garner, Jr. officiating. Graveside service will follow at the Pisgah Cemetery.
