Rachel Geneva Turner, 89, of Nashville Arkansas passed away on September 9, 2017, in Nashville. She was born on March 16, 1928 in Blevins, Arkansas the daughter of the late Fred Yates and Stella Wood Yates She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Nashville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Ray Turner, a son, Mike Turner, and eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include; one son Brent Turner and wife Linda of Nashville, AR; one daughter Carla Turner Haynie and husband Raymond of Hot Springs, AR; four grandchildren Pam Nicholson of Texarkana, TX, Kim Turner Lewis and Jarrett of Gulf Breeze, FL, Alison Haynie of Hot Springs, AR, Laura Haynie of Little Rock, AR; three great grandchildren Claire and Grayson Lewis of Gulf Breeze, FL; and Max Haynie of Little Rock, AR.; and a host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, with David Blase officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park cemetery in Nashville, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
