Delight

Phylis was Born to the late Calvert (Slim) Burton and Katherine Garnett Burton on August 27, 1947 in Little Rock, Ar. She left this world on December 24, 2020 at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, Tx.

Phylis was a member of the Pisgah Church of Christ

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Calvert “Buddy” Burton Jr. and a sister Inez Gill.

Survivors include her life partner and father of her children Dwight Chandler Nashville, AR, one Son Scott Chandler (Jenny Quimby) of Arkadelphia, Ar. Two daughters Rebecca Potter (Brient) of Delight, Ar. Leslie Vaught (Kenny) of Nathan. One Son in Law Scott Heaston of Murfreesboro, Ar. One sister Jo Ann Wilbanks (Robert) of Benton, Ar. Seven grandchildren, Matthew Heaston (Katherine), Joseph Heaston, Alexandra Heaston, Austin Vaught (Faith), Dillon Vaught (Hailey), Courtney Waldrop (Chris) and Taylor Dixon and eight Great Grandchildren Jacey, Hunter, Isabella (Heaston), Paige, Eva (Vaught), Johnathan Vaught, Delannie Waldrop and Isabella Dixon. She is also survived by a multitude of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly.

Phylis loved being surrounded by her family and friends, especially her great grandchildren, who were her world.

Memorial services will 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 31, at the Nathan Church of Christ, with Leon McKinnon and Tim Mounts officiating.
