Perry D. Buster, local musician and vocalist, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the age of 73 at his home in Murfreesboro. He was born, August 11, 1935 in Delight, AR, the son of the late John and Pearl Wood Buster. He was a member of Pleasant Home Church of Christ. Mr. Buster served four years of service in the United States Army and two years in the Reserves. Perry was a local musician and teacher, who was well known throughout the community. Perry enjoyed teaching and sharing his love of music, with his students. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: daughter Keri Buster of Manhattan, NY; son Darrin Buster of Spokane, WA; three sisters Floreece Acosta of Fairplay, SC, Janette and Al McBain of Ocala, FL, Linda and Dick Wingrove of North Tonawonda, NY, and a very good buddy that has stayed close for 55 years Dan Miller of Yakima, WA, his life partner and best friend Iline Tadlock of Murfreesboro, AR, aunt and uncle Evelyn and Jim Gresham of Nacogdoches, TX, mother of his children Kay Buster of Spokane, WA, and several much loved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special friends Sue Scoggin and Nickey Stewart of Murfreesboro.
