Pauline O'Keefe Wakin

Pauline O'Keefe Wakin, age 85 of Farmerville, Louisiana formerly of Wake Village, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Farmerville, Louisiana. She was born on February 10, 1933 in Ashdown, Arkansas the daughter of the late Elvie Van and Bessie May McDowell Adams. She was a member of the St. Edward Catholic Church in Texarkana, Arkansas and a faithful member of the Wake Village Lion's Club. She worked at Collins and Williams in Texarkana, Texas for over twenty years. Mrs. Wakin was preceded in death by her first husband Harland O'Keefe, her second husband Jack Wakin; one sister Valeria Judd, one grandson Eli Horton, one great grandson Elijah Ozanich. Survivors include one daughter Teresa Horton and husband Mike of Pittsburg, KS; one son Thomas O'Keefe and wife Lisa of Farmerville, LA; eight grandchildren, Todd O'Keefe, Andrea Nelson, Erica Ozanich, Michael Horton, Trista Arnold, Laura O'Keefe, and Chase O'Keefe. Thirteen great grandchildren Haley O'Keefe, Hunter O'Keefe, Mattison Arnold, Maddox Arnold, Christopher O'Keefe, Maddon Arnold, Mack Arnold, Liam Horton, Jericho Ozanich, Mallory Nelson, Ezra Ozanich, Henry Horton, and Amelia Thomas. One special niece Janice Judd of Houston, TX; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M, Monday, June 11, at Chapelwood Cemetery in Wake Village, Texas.
