Patsy D. Parson

Patsy D. Parson, age 76, of Athens, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in Dierks, Arkansas.  She was born March 14, 1946 in Athens, Arkansas the daughter of the late Jimmie Parson and Inez Pinkerton Parson.

Mrs. Parson was a graduate of Henderson State University and professional assistant for Hughes Aircraft in Los Angeles, CA. for many years.  She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her sister.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother in law Don Manning.

Survivors include her sister Peggy Manning of Umpire, AR; nieces and nephews Carla and Donnie Reid of Athens, AR, Charlie and Tina Manning of Bryant, AR, Cheyne and Rikki Manning of Umpire, AR; great nieces Vanessa and Brian Sampson of Cabot, AR, Alden Manning of Bryant, AR, Kyla and Justin Gilbert of Kirby, AR, Sarah and Carlton Norris of CA, Caleigh Manning of Dierks, AR; great-great nieces and nephews Rylee Cobb of Bryant, AR, Lexi Sampson of Cabot, AR, Keidan Gilbert of Kirby, AR, Eliza Norris of CA; as well as her special friend Don Puddephatt of Hot Springs, AR.

A private family graveside will be held Sunday, March 12, at Athens Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Manning, Cheyne Manning, Donnie Reid, Brian Sampson, Justin Gilbert, and Carlton Norris.
