Patricia Ann Askew

Patricia Askew, 82, of DeQuincy, LA, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 in Kilgore. She was born on February 19, 1934 in DeQuincy, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Oscar Deal and Ida Pharris Deal. Mrs. Askew was a homemaker and member of the Marlbrook Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Warren Askew. She is survived by two sons, Marlin Askew and wife, Rena, and Dwight Askew and wife, Leigh, a brother Thomas Deal and wife Margaret, a sister Eldie Horton and husband Joe, 4 granddaughters Monica Askew, Cydinna Askew, Kimberly Askew Spangler, and Hannah Askew; 2 great grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Services will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
