Ora Mary Poss, 97, of Nashville, died Friday, February 13, 2009 in the local hospital. She was born on January 17, 1912 in Nashville, the daughter of the late J.Y. and Louvenia (Jones) Roberts. She was a homemaker and member of Unity Baptist Church in Nashville. Mrs. Poss was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Poss in 1999; two brothers, Ruel Roberts and Elmer Roberts; and one sister, Opal Arnold. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Wayne Clark of Nashville; two sisters, Willie Belle Arnold of Tulsa, OK and Myrtis Perkins of Texarkana, AR; three grandchildren, Shelley and husband, Brad McKinnon of Nashville, Michael and wife, Priscilla Clark of Benton, and Ashley and husband, Michael Matthews of Conway; two great-granddaughters, Parker Grace Clark of Benton and Anna Kate McKinnon of Nashville. Many other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 16, 2009 at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville with Bro. David Cassady and Zane Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Memorial Park under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
