Oletha Hoover

Oletha Hoover, age 94 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Murfreesboro. She was born on October 2, 1929 in Amity to the late Hardy Coker and Elsie Mae Whisenhunt Coker.

Mrs. Hoover spent most of her life as a housewife and homemaker. She loved sewing, quilting, embroidering and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Hoover, a grandson, Cody Hoover, a sister, Latena Coker and two brothers, Roy Coker and Willis Coker.

Survivors include her two sons David Hoover and his wife, Debbie, and Leon Hoover and his wife, Jo Ann; three grandchildren, Brad Hoover, Shay Hoover and his wife, Mandy, and Melissa Harrington; a number of great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jim Henderson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.
