Olen Grice Slatton

Olen Grice Slatton, 89, of Delight, Arkansas, died Monday, January 2, 2012, in a Little Rock hospital. He was born August 3, 1922 in Pisgah, Arkansas. Mr. Slatton was a member of the Saline Church of Christ, and was anArmy veteran and a member of the 782nd Battalion World War II ETO. He was preceded in death by his wife Elva Delores Slatton, one son William Dorsey â�œScuddyâ₝ Slatton. Survivors include one son Tom and wife Nancy Slatton of Delight, AR; two brothers, Laymon and wife Joy Slatton of Pisgah, AR; Frank and wife Catherine Slatton of Hot Springs, AR; one sister Joy Mae Brock of Murfreesboro, AR; and two grandchildren Jesse and Andrew Pipkins. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Saline Church of Christ with burial to follow in Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
