Olan Edward Bailey

Olan Edward Bailey, 68 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born on August 26, 1946 in Pearcy, Arkansas the son of the late Otis and Vena Jackson Bailey. He was a member of the Delight Methodist Church, and a logger for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing with his kids and brothers, watching his grandsons play baseball, and watching his granddaughter barrel race. Olan was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and highly thought of by all family members. He was preceded in death by parents and a brother Carl Bailey. Survivors include his wife of forty-nine years Kay Bailey of Nashville, AR; one son Scott Bailey and wife Tracy of Murfreesboro, AR; one daughter Pam Crocker and husband Robbie of Murfreesboro, AR; four grandchildren Natalie Jones and husband Danny of Dierks, AR; Ethan Crocker and wife Cassady of Russellville, AR; Adam Bailey and Alex Bailey both of Murfreesboro, AR; three brothers Leroy Bailey of Kirby, AR; Jimmy Bailey and wife Wanda of Murfreesboro, AR; Paul Bailey and wife Virginia of Nashville, AR; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 20 at the Delight Methodist Church, with Rev. Jim Henderson officiating, with burial to follow in Pike City Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M., until service time at the Delight Methodist Church.
