Norma Jean Lowery

Norma Jean Lowery, 77, of Murfreesboro, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in Murfreesboro. She was born on August 25, 1936, the daughter of the late James William Miller and Mary Ethel (Wilson) Miller. She was a homemaker, member of the Rattler Booster Club, and avid Rattler fan. She was also member of the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Lowery, six brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, Charles D. of Murfreesboro; three sons, Stevie Lowery and wife, Susan, Chuck Lowery and wife, Debbie, and Ricky Don Lowery and wife, Paula all of Murfreesboro; one daughter, Donna Reeves and husband, Scooter of Nashville; one brother, Larry Miller and wife, Willa Dean of Delight; two sisters, Gwen McLelland of Delight, and Ocille Sanders of Camden; nine grandchildren, Bryan and Marci Lowery and Elleigh Jean Lowery of Hot Springs, Timmy and Jerri Woodruff of Dierks, Kayla and Mark McCarley of Texarkana, AR, Jarrod Lowery of Murfreesboro and Ben Lowery and fiancé, April Cox of Murfreesboro, Darrick and Carrie Lowery of Lonoke, Jake and Mitzi Lowery of Murfreesboro, Chelcey Lowery and Jon Best of Santa Monica, CA; fifteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Services will be on Saturday, Jan 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro with Larry Miller, Jimmy Dale Coker, and Bob Hunter officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Home cemetery in Murfreesboro under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro. Visitation will be on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
