Nita Bell Dildy, 84 of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born on December 29, 1930 in Center Point, Arkansas the daughter of the late Rupert and Chloe Bell Gardner Chambers. Nita Dildy was a devoted Christian mother who had a lifelong dedication to the spiritual as well as physical growth and development for her four children. A resourceful and talented homemaker, she built a warm and secure refuge for her family everywhere they journeyed and she raised her children with a selfless and preserving drive, always seeking the absolute best for each of them. As they matured into adulthood, she shared her maternal talents and experiences through her friendly lighthearted and encouraging conversation and by teaching classes on crocheting afghans. A friend of the family said it best when expressing "She was a wonderful kind soul with an amazing sense of humor and she will be missed by many." Nita was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville, and a member of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by a sister Eddie Jo Chambers Howard, and a granddaughter Danielle Lea Dildy. Survivors include her husband of sixty-six years Edward H. "Ebbo" Dildy of Nashville, AR; her children, Douglas Chambers Dildy and wife Annette of Albuquerque, NM, Gary Edmond Dildy and wife Robin of Nashville, AR, Patricia Ann Dildy Dean of Port Royal, SC, and Edward H. Dildy II of Hot Springs, AR; six grandchildren, David Christopher Dildy, Angela Michelle Dildy Griego, Joshua Edward Dildy, Matthew Brian Pollard and wife Mary Katherine, Michael Robert Pollard, and Hannah Chloe Dean, five great-grandchildren, and one brother, Rex "Sonny" Chambers of Texarkana, TX. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 15, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 16 at the First Baptist Church in Nashville, with Bro. Kevin Sartin and Bro. David Blasé officiating. Burial will follow in Ozan Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Nashville, P.O.
