Murriel Green

Murriel Green, 86, of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, March 25, 2010, at a Murfreesboro nursing home. She was born September 20, 1923, at Idabel, OK, the daughter of the late Albert C. and Janie Shuffield Morphew. She was a member of Sweet Home Methodist Church. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Logan Green, one daughter, Judy Steele, brothers, Lloyd Morphew, Clyde Morphew, and Dale Morphew. She is survived by one sister, Opal Dean Jackson of Burleson, TX; two nieces , Joyce Morphew of California and Debbie Riddle of Burleson, TX; one nephew, Steve Morphew of Murfreesboro, AR; two grandchildren, Darren Burrus of Mufreesboro, AR and Christian Burrus of Benton, LA; two great-grandchildren, Ava Diane Burrus of Benton, LA and Logan Burrus of Murfreesboro, AR and a host of friends. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Sunday, March 28, at Oak Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Al Terrell officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
