Michael C. Delaney

Michael C. Delaney, 46, of Delight, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 12, 2015. He was born August 24, 1969 in Eugene, Oregon, the son of the late William (Son) Delaney and Carrietta Delaney, of Delight. He leaves behind his family and many friends to mourn his passing. Michael is preceded in death by his father, William (Son) Delaney, and sister, Linda (Delaney) Hecke. He is survived by his mother, Carrietta Delaney and sister, Michelle Delaney of Delight, AR; one brother, David and sister-in-law, Darlene Delaney of Salem, Oregon and wife, Jennifer; and a special second father, Pat Davis of Delight; 2 nephews; 5 great nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Michael was a Christian man who was devoted to caring for his family. He loved serving his community and helping those in need. Michael was a business owner, and dedicated Fire Chief, son, brother, and friend. A man who will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be on Friday, September 18, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, AR from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 19, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, AR at 10:00 AM with Brother Jim Henderson, Brother Roger Genung, and Brother Pat Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Delight Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
