Melissa Jane Brown

Melissa Jane Brown, age 70, of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 in Nashville, Arkansas.  She was born August 13, 1953 in Nashville, Arkansas the daughter of the late Vernon Clarence and Daisy Mae Manning McHughes.

Jane was a member of Sunset church of Christ.   During her career she was a hairdresser for many years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by he husband Johnny Brown and her sister Wanda Gaye Cooley.

Survivors include a son Jay Brown and wife Mandy of Nashville, AR, two daughters Jenny Kizzia and husband Mark of New Boston, TX, and Johnnie Dee Hughes of Mineral Springs, AR; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. 

Cremation services are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
