Max Hayes Womack

The youngest of seven brothers, Max was born on March 16, l930 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas to Granville and Octavia Womack. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Max graduated from Murfreesboro High School and served in the U. S. Navy. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Henderson State University in l959. He retired from the Social Security Administration having served in several locations before retiring in Hot Springs. Max was preceded in death by his parents; one step-sister, Lois Stamps; and five brothers, Hollis, Clark, Ray, Hugh and Paul. Survivors include one brother, Roland Womack of Hot Springs, one sister-in-law, Jean Womack of Texarkana, and many nieces and nephews.
