Mattie Marine Lyons Kennedy, age 99, of Nashville, Arkansas, died on Thursday, May 14, 2020 in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born September 16, 1920 in Nashville, Arkansas the daughter of the late Roland Lee and Eula Dyer Lyons. She became a member of Immanuel Baptist Church when she was twenty-five years old. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" M. Kennedy. Survivors include two daughters Betty Jean Kennedy Wilhite and husband Charles E., Mary Joyce Kennedy Dickinson Pinkston and husband Charles; Grandchildren Sherry Wilhite Scott, Rodney Wilhite, Diane Dickinson Schooley, Dana Dickinson, John David Dickinson, Skip Pinkston, Great grandchildren Kennedy Wilhite, Neil Wilhite, Emory Wilhite, Shelby Dickinson, John Steven Schooley, Sydney Schooley, Will Dickinson, Edward Hetzel, and Amber Fuller. Six great-great grandchildren Anaabell Schooley, Jaedyn Schooley, John Declan Schooley, Adrial Schooley, Breanna Pinkston, and Meredith Pinkston. Graveside services will be 1:30 P.M., Saturday, May 16, at Restland Memorial Park, with Rev. Glen Green officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
