Mary Jo Woods

Mary Jo Cornish Woods, 92, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018, in Texarkana, AR. She was born on October 21, 1925, in Nathan, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ben W. Cornish and Myrtle L. Floyd Cornish. She was a member of Murfreesboro Church of Christ, but was currently attending Highland Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel Woods; daughters, Barbara MacIntosh, Neva Ann Stone, and baby girl Woods; two sisters, Lois Jones and Bonnie Giroux; and brother, John Paul Cornish. Survivors include her daughters, Teri Fowler and husband Dennis of Texarkana, AR, Peggy Johnson and husband Mike of Murfreesboro, AR. Her grandchildren: Kimberly Valentine, Tracy and Gary Lehmkuhler, Mitsi and Eric Neel, Jay MacIntosh, Courtney and Josh Stinson, Carson and Colton Hughes. Her great-grandchildren: Ashley Rodriguez, Marly Valdes-Santos, James Lehmkuhler, Chase Neel, Knox and Samuel Stinson, Blakeli Hughes as well as baby on the way Brinkli Hughes, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Services will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Church of Christ Murfreesboro with burial in Academy Cemetery at Biggs Chapel under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
