Mary Ellen Jones Fugitt

Mary Ellen Jones Fugitt, age 79, of Murfreesboro, died on Saturday, November 27, 2010 in Murfreesboro, AR. She was born on May 23, 1931 in Clark County, Arkansas the daughter of the late Murl and Mattie (Lake) Jones. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Casey Joe Fugitt; and one great granddaughter, Brooklyn Paige Fugitt. Survivors include: her husband, Harold J.D. Fugitt of Murfreesboro; two sons, Harold Thomas Fugitt of Murfreesboro, and Steven Murl Fugitt and wife, Paula of Dierks, AR; three daughters, Sandra Guerra of Murfreesboro, AR, Pamela Burnett and husband, Jimmy of Checotah, OK, and Lorrie Lightfoot and husband, Guy of Waldo, AR; one brother, Phillip Jones and wife, Pauline of Sumner, TX; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel with Freeman Henderson and Lee Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Japany Cemetery in Murfreesboro, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
