Mary Alma Bell, 86, of Mineral Springs, AR, died Friday, May 13, 2011 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born June 27, 1924, in Mineral Springs, AR, the daughter of the late Joe Lee and Laney Edwin (Dossey) Hardin. She loved to sew, crochet and to quilt. She also loved flowers and had a big garden, and raised chickens for 37 years. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs. Bell is preceded in death by her husband, Leo â�œBuddyâ Bell, three brothers Laverne Hardin, J.L. Hardin, and Joe Lee Hardin, Jr. and two sisters, Melva Florine Herring and Wanda Fay Threat. She is survived by two sons, James Ray Reed of Nashville, AR and David Bell of Mineral Springs, AR; two daughters, Mary Alice Harris of Mineral Springs, AR and Elizabeth Diane Tabler of Umpire, AR; one sister, Glenda Kaye Roberts of Tampa, TX; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 16, at Mineral Springs Cemetery, with Bobby Quinn officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
