Martha Cassady

Martha Cassady, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, December 14, 2018 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. She was born June 18, 1939 to the late Marthel Clardy Maroon and Sam Maroon. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Murfreesboro. Ms. Martha was avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. When she wasn't cheering on the Razorbacks, she was either crafting or fishing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray "Dooley" Cassady and her parents. Survivors include, one son, Sammy Cassady of Nashville, AR; two daughters, Betty Morris and husband Mike of Dierks, AR; Cindy Carey and husband Kenneth of Nashville, AR; three sisters, Betty Tyler and husband Harold; Jane Wesson and husband Larry; Anita Landsdell; seven grand-children, Melissa, Crystal, Vickie, Shane, Chad, Brad, David; Sixteen great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 17, 2018 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro with Bro. Rob Evans Officiating. Burial will follow at County Line Cemetery under the direction at Latimer Funeral Home.
